Winners of muru-D Golden Ticket Pitch Event

Wow what a night!

On Tuesday, over 45 founders pitched at our Golden Ticket event in front of a crowd of over 100 people in the event space at Sydney Startup Hub.

Each founder had 60 seconds to pitch their startup. They shared with the crowd what problems they were solving, the market opportunity and why it matters to them.

The quality of pitches was super impressive and 99.9% (well, not quite) of founders managed to finish their pitch before the countdown timer hit zero.

A common theme from the pitches was the desire to solve everyday problems including mental health and physical health, job satisfaction and the need for community.

We had an impressive judging panel made up of Mick Liubinskas – Co-founder of muru-D, now based in San Francisco and helping companies to access the US market; Julie Trell, Head of muru-D, Pandora Shelley, CEO Fishburners and Oliver Nicholls, the overall first prize winner at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Pennsylvania last month.

There were three winners of a Golden Ticket who all earnt a place at our mid-year bootcamp. This is an incredible learning and growing experience where they will have eight deep dive sessions with startup specialists including Mick Liubinskas, Julie Trell, Ben Reid, Oonagh McEldowney, Dean McEvoy, Nicola Farrell, Melissa Pye, Steve Buikuizen and many more!

So who were the winners? Congratulations to……
