What does a good application look like?

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been consistently asked this question so I thought I’d write a short post on the top 5 points start-ups should cover in their application:

1. Make it super clear exactly what the need is in the marketplace for your idea – what is the customer problem you are fixing?
2. How innovative or disruptive is your startup?
   Please tell us what your unique selling point, what makes you better than your competitors.
3. How scalable is your idea?
   Could it be taken to other countries or applied in more than one industry?
4. Who are you and your team, and what makes you best placed to deliver this startup?
   We are looking for teams who know exactly what role each of them play, know what the gaps are in their business, and have clear plans to fill those gaps.
5. Why do you want a spot with muru-D?
   It’s also a really good idea to do a short pitch video too, that way you can bring your idea to life for us and show us how amazingly passionate you and your team are.
