Vicki Saunders at muru-D

We hold a lot of really great events at muru-D and last night’s one was no exception.

We hosted Vicki Saunders, Founder of SheEO, who is here from Canada as part of the City of Sydney’s Visiting Entrepreneur Program.

Just over 70 women gathered in our playroom at HQ in Sydney to hear how Vicki is radically transforming how we finance, support and celebrate women led ventures and making sure that women (who are half the population – yes I’m stating the obvious) have a seat at the table and take an active part in planning our future.

A little more about Vicki…

Vicki is a serial entrepreneur, speaker, author and podcaster, and she is the real deal. She has co-founded and run four ventures, across two continents, and has experienced first hand life in startup land, with its multitude of colours. She’s received many accolades as a business person and leader and was named one of the 100 most influential leaders of 2015 from “EBW – Empowering A Billion Women”, alongside Marissa Mayer, Melinda Gates, Sheryl Sandberg and Michelle Obama. Being in a room with her felt like being in the company of entrepreneur royalty.
