Paul has over 25 years experience building and running media and technology companies in Asia. He spent his early career as an award-winning television producer/director in the US, creating award winning documentaries, commercials and corporate films for Apple, IBM, HP, Motorola, Visa and other Silicon Valley companies. Since moving to Asia in the early 1990s, Paul built a number of successful media, Internet and mobile companies, with roles including:

● Heading and developing multimedia at Asia Business News (now CNBC Asia) ;
● Bringing international media brands such as CNET, E! Online, and DoubleClick to the Asian Internet, creating localised versions across 8 countries;
● Founding and running MTV;
● Co-founding and running business development for early internet pioneer, helping to take it public on NASDAQ in 2000;
● Founding and running Southeast Asia’s largest distributor of mobile games, Acme
● Mobile for 7+ years, before selling to Mexico’s Binbit
● Running business development across Asia for emerging market social network mig. me. Prior to his role at muru-D, Paul served as start-up mentor with MOX – The Mobile-only Accelerator, Founder Institute and the Singapore Management University (SMU).
