See who won the Melbourne “Golden Ticket” pitch event

Last night we ran our first ever Golden Ticket pitch event in Melbourne. 100+ people made their way to Telstra Labs for beers and burritos and to either pitch or watch the founders pitch their startup stories. We cranked up the degree of difficulty and only gave each founder 60 seconds to pitch their story. No slides, just them and a mic under some lights that were quite bright.

There were a total of 20 founders who got up and pitched to a super friendly panel of judges including Ayala Domani – Innovation and Incubation Executive at Telstra, Darren Wolchyn – Founder at Smart Paddock, Judy Anderson – CEO at Startup Victoria and Patrick Crooks – Innovation and Incubation Principal at Telstra.

Well done to the winners of the Golden Ticket who’ve now been fast tracked to the interview stage of the application process for the next Sydney program, SYD6.
