muru-D Singapore teams pitch and win!
muru-D Singapore have just wrapped up their trip to San Francisco and Silicon Valley, with an action-packed program. Highlights included their startups participating in local pitch competitions and winning, workshops with mentors from Uber and Silicon Valley Bank, and sharing sessions with local angels and VCs such as Polaris Ventures.
Shoutout to ShopUp who pitched at WeWorkâs #BrunchWorksSF to Monica Simo, Principal, Ventures at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and Patrick Gallagher, cofounder of CrunchFund, and won!
And a big shoutout to all muru-D Singapore’s female founders – Siffat Sarwar (ShopUp), Shireen Tan Chwee WEi (VR LAB – HQ), and Jenny Pan (CarePod) – who also pitched at Female Founders Pitch Female Funders at 500 Startups. The muru-D Singapore team and founders all came out in force to support them, with Jenny taking home the top prize for best pitch!
