muru-D Melbourne is our latest program to launch and brings the knowledge, experience and network built up across our four existing locations to Victoria. We offer $75k in seed funding as well as coworking space within Telstra Labs. Located in Melbourne’s CBD, Telstra Labs provides our founders unique access to in-house experts and resources across IoT, machining and fabrication, blockchain, drones, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and humanoid robotics (Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence).
Founders receive coaching from our Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR), access to muru-D’s global network of mentors, investors and alumni as well as an international trip to a startup hub. They can also leverage muru-D’s presence across Australia and Asia, as well as our alumni manager located in the US, to gain fast insights, access and connections in those markets. It is an environment conducive to building successful global businesses and developing resilient founders.

PROGRAM MANAGER, MELBOURNE
Originally from sunny New Caledonia, Audrey is a muru-D veteran (as veteran as you can get in a four year old company). Initially based out of our Sydney office, she headed up our partnerships where she established our ‘powered by muru-D’ partner programs in Brisbane and Perth, with River City Labs and Spacecubed respectively.
Now in Melbourne, she has set up and is running our local accelerator, expanding muru-D’s reach and impact down the coast. She has a keen interest in behavioural economics and is passionate about ocean conservation, social entrepreneurship and innovation in the Pacific islands.
